WKU Baseball won the Conference-USA Championship, their first conference championship as a member of the CUSA. The team was also invited to the NCAA Tournament regionals, where they went 0–2 and their season ended with an 8–6 loss to Ole Miss.

The WKU chapter of Kappa Sigma filed an appeal following the university’s decision, with support from alumni and the international chapter.
