I also had some concerns with the 1700 VMax gets rather hot quick compared to the 1200 VMax taking upwards of 30+ minutes to get to halfway up the temperature gauge (depending on outside temperatures of course). 1200 VMax got hot pretty quick when it was 85° and hotter one day, maybe within 15 minutes riding casually.
