While I don't have a Camry, we have two Prius and Corolla Hybrids so there is a learning curve if you've never owned a hybrid. (But Toyota's hybrids are head-and-shoulders better than anything else being built right now.) Yes, all of our Toyota's will pop up an alert if it doesn't detect a hand on the steering wheel but it's pretty rare.

Toyota does not seem to be rushing new model, though some have said a late May/June delivery is early for a 2025 model. 2025 Camry was announced back in October of 2023.
