Daniel P. Abnett (/ ˈæbnɪt / AB-nit; [2] born 12 October 1965) is an English comic book writer and novelist. He has been a frequent collaborator with fellow writer Andy Lanning, and has worked on books for both Marvel Comics, and their UK imprint, Marvel UK, since the 1990s, and also 2000 AD.
Abnett's early work for the Black Library includes the Gaunt's Ghosts and Inquisitor Eisenhorn novels. His later work includes several volumes of the ongoing Horus Heresy Series (including the first, Horus Rising (Novel)), and the screenplay for Ultramarines - A Warhammer 40,000 Movie.
