So far, TAC has been pretty atrocious in my WOA 20" Predator barrel. MP518 (Staball Match) routinely gets me under 1", but TAC has been more like 1.5-2.5" groups. Just 2 recent reviews of some of the more budget friendly "M193" on the market. First up is the PMC X-TAC M193. It is a touch shy of meeting the velocity spec at least with the uppers I'm using. Was looking at some data and saw loads for TAC with .308. I've used some with .223 and have powder on hand. Anybody load any 150g FMJBT .308's with TAC? Decent results? It lists 42.4g up to 47.1g.
I recently picked up this Bul Armory Tac Pro compensated model and it is a beast. It is not finicky with ammo, shoots soft and flat, is extremely well built, very accurate, mags don’t cost a fortune and it costs about $1700 less than the comparable Staccato comped model.
