The Boating Forum - Bravo outdrive bellows - OEM vs Aftermarket - I am shopping around for a transom service kit for my Bravo 3 outdrive and I was wondering if there is any real difference between the OEM and the aftermarket kits? I am especially interested to hear of anybody has any experience with the SEI kit?
Yamaha OX66 lower unit This is 2001 Yamaha 250 OX66 aftermarket SEI lower unit, replaced in 2013. Only 100 hours on the lower unit. I was replacing the impeller and found the seal under the impeller plate all buggered up and the bearing housing rusted. Replacing the impeller is the extent of my knowledge on a lower unit.
