SADP is a basic software tool for finding Hikvision devices on your network. It scans your network and looks for devices by MAC address – all manufacturers have a MAC address convention they can recognize as their own.

SADP stands for Search Active Devices Protocol and, as its name suggests, it can help you identify active online devices within your subnet and provides you with various details about them.
After launching the SADP software, it automatically searches the online devices every 15 seconds from the subnet where your computer locates. It displays the total number and information of the searched devices in the Online Devices interface.
