Moonlight allows you to play your PC games on almost any device, whether you're in another room or miles away from your gaming rig. Moonlight (formerly Limelight) is an open source implementation of NVIDIA's GameStream protocol.
Moonlight, when used in combination with Sunshine, could allow the user to toggle between multiple monitors, using a keyboard shortcut.
I often use Moonlight on my laptop in a low resolution with background controller input turned on while playing on my gaming PC streaming to my AppleTV. I use this roundabout but well-working solution because the AppleTV’s controller support has often given me issues with latency and deadzones and isn’t very customizable.
I use Moonlight on my TV Box with android 11, I connect the controls via bluetooth in the tv box, but when playing, the PC recognizes them as xbox controls. For example, when I connect the controls directly to the PC, the gyroscope works normally, the PC recognizes the controls as "Wirelles Controller" for Ps4 and "Joycon L and R" separately.
Here are some features that i think need to be added to moonlight that everyone would love: USB over IP for controllers (kinda like VirtualHere) While
I'd like to have a feature where you can toggle whenever your (phisical) screen must be public (current mode) or not (screen would become black, or at least have a message like "privacy mode is enabled"). Obviously, if the mode is enabled, you would still be able to control the computer through moonlight. And if you can, make it support multiple monitors. Thank you for providing an such software!
