The Texas Apiary Inspection Service (TAIS) is the sole agency responsible for regulating the apiary industry of Texas. TAIS is a state agency administered under AgriLife Research, a part of the Texas A&M university system.
TAIS was established as a nonprofit to foster educational excellence in its member schools. We uphold that mission today through legislative advocacy, bespoke professional development, and facilitation of member benefits and access to effective education resources.
