i have 5 older analog only scanners that i use to listen to analog stuff like FRS/GMRS/MURS air, military air, ham, business, DEA, FBI, space station and other stuff.
Back many years ago I flew in an aircraft that was part of a sheriff's office and had an Idaho call sign assigned by the DEA. Edit: The call sign was Idaho and the last two numbers of the tail number.
I also know a lot of the activities of DHS, some FBI & DEA and a lot of military aircraft in the Southeast Texas area. I have a question for anyone on this thread.

Just FYI, the DEA and FBI are both part of the Department of Justice. Since the DEA is moving towards VHF everywhere, some of the frequencies they are using have come from various DoJ assignment pools of frequencies that can include those used in some ares by the FBI.
