Reason being is that the CRF250 has a slight advantage over the 450 when doing a 2T engine swap due to the frame provisions for a rear center mounted head stay. The 450 frame has outboard mounted head stays that would require one additional mod to the frame , either frame will need numerous mods that I can expand on if you're interested.
The CRF250/450 headlight shells bolts to the sides of the upper triple but could be adapted. Same for aftermarket shells, but check what bulb they use because some use a style that looks like a tail light bulb and they are difficult to find in the high wattage needed for a headlight.

Looking for a better rear shock for the Honda CRF250F, one that has rebound and compression adjustments. Has anyone measured the shock eye to eye? Anyone found a shock off another bike that can be adapted to work. Thanks
