Backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Chand Mera Dil is set to release in cinemas on April 10, next year. Soni made his directorial debut with Meenakshi Sundareshwar, starring Sanya Malhotra and Abhimanyu Dasani, and followed it up with this year's Aap Jaisa Koi, led by R Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
