The meeting, including any meeting agenda, notes, and attachments, will be deleted from Outlook. Only the meeting organizer—the person who sends a meeting request—can send a meeting update or a cancellation. If cancellation is close to the billing date, a charge may still appear because cancellations must be more than 2 days before the billing date. Check the subscription end date on the Services page.

This cmdlet allows the organizer to send a cancellation message, but if you want to avoid notifying attendees, you can simply delete the event from your calendar without sending a notification. Note that this action will move the event to the Deleted Items folder.
Microsoft can only cancel subscriptions purchased directly from Microsoft. If you purchased a Microsoft subscription from Google Play or the Apple app store, contact their customer support for cancellation. Note: If you purchased your subscription in Germany, you can cancel without signing into your Microsoft account.
