To down load 308 ammo, using 300 Savage Data. In order to safely shoot the many imported Mauser small rings that were rechambered to 7.62 CETME cartridge. Which is dimensionally identical to 7.62 NATO and 308 Win. But arsenal loaded to 42K PSI. 300 Savage cartridge is a near ballistic twin to the venerable 30-30.
Just bought a beautiful M1A loaded with the Black Synthetic stock. I love how the rifle feels but i?d rather have a wood stock on the gun to complete the look! The Speer Gold Dots seemed to have slightly more energy. Lehigh Extreme Defender bullet in 68 grain, 357 Sig cartridge, with a velocity over 2100 fps was explosive (loaded by Underwood ammo).
