Score users are more powerful than test takers, because users are in a position to mandate that test takers submit to the test. I don't get the bold part, that's why I don't understand the meaning of "test users".
The important point is the the memberOf attribute of users and many methods do not expose membership in the "primary" group. It is best to keep the defaults and just assume that everyone is a member of "Domain Users", for example. I don't know why posix-compliant apps would require a different "primary" group.
