Texas is very generous and recognizes valid permits from pretty much any state, yet other states (NY,CA,MA,NV ETC) are far less accommodating to us (Texas LTC holders) -- my question is why does Texas recognize permits from citizens of states that don't recognize ours???? I assume intent of the the whole reciprocity thing is to allow residents of other states who have been issued licenses by their home states, to carry here in Texas. I don't know if it really addresses Texas residents getting licenses from other states to carry here in Texas.

Re: Cool CHL reciprocity map by O6nop » Fri 11:58 pm I find it odd that Texas doesn't recognize Minnesota's CHL but Minnesota recognizes Texas' CHL, unless I read it wrong. As far as I can tell, that is the only state that Texas doesn't recognize that does recognize Texas.
