I wear a ball cap turned backwards when bowhunting in the warm weather, when it starts to cool down and use a jones style hat. Last season I bought a Stormie Kromer hat its wool and goretex for a muzzleloader hunt in Maine.
I have recently shot a smaller buck and he is not nice enought to make a euro mount. I cut the rack off and cut all of the skin, fur, membrane, etc. off the skull cap. I want to whiten the skull cap but im not sure how to go about it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how/what to use to whiten it?

I have an older style that uses the 209 but was wanting to go back to cap and ball like what my grandpa introduced me to. Just never got into the new muzzleloaders.
