Trompe l’oeil artist Chet McAteer was honored by more than 50 art lovers at a reception recently. McAteer is a painter from Alabama who was in the area while visiting a home he owns in nearby Windsor.
The murals of artist Richard Haas are stunningly realistic. Since the 1970s, Haas has created hundreds of trompe-l’oeil murals in cities across the world, from Boston to Chicago, and Miami to Munich.
