This fingering chart includes trill fingerings, which are fingerings designed for rapid alternation between two notes at an interval of a minor second (semitone) or a major second (whole tone) apart.

Flute Trill Chart 5

To execute a flute trill, select two adjacent notes on the instrument. Start by playing the lower of the two notes. For example, if you’re trilling between C and C#, start by playing C. While holding down the first note, rapidly alternate between the finger placements for the two notes.
