210 disconnected compositor issue... Had the issue forever, for anyone having the issue their support teams respond absurdly fast, if you have an apu or any integrated graphics you might need to disable it to play with the vive pro 2. hope that saves someone some time.
I've tried everything: factory reset, switching between shader and compositor, changing my render settings, but the problem still persists: I cannot find "Use Nodes" for the life of me.
It uses gamescope. It is a custom Wayland compositor optimized for gaming. Yep, pretty cool. Apparently it's a 1 window compositor. -Vive console would say "VR compositor disconnected" once steam VR loaded and the headset wouldn't even light up even if it showed good wireless connection and ready status in vive console IF the radeon integrated graphics stayed enabled in device manager
I keep getting this error "Shared IPC Compositor Connect Failed (306)" I've tried the troubleshooting guide from the Oasis GitHub repo and the things I've found here and on reddit and have had no luck.
