Hi. Suppose I’m asking a question in the forum and I produce my thinking about the question and I want someone to confirm my thinking, I would usually say “I think ..., right?”, but that doesn’t sound polite. Are there any polite ways to say “right?”? Thank you.

"Asking" is used in the gerund form here (there's an implicit "your" in front of it), so the tense is pretty much irrelevant. It's like saying thank you for your letter.

Are you asking how you join a queue? You just join it at the end (it's usually pretty obvious which is the front and which is the end of a queue, but if you make a mistake, you'll be informed by the queue people).
