1az Engine Ecu

1AZ and 2AZ are almost identical engines, and the swap is very simple. I did it myself on my RAV4. The 2.0L was still in shape, but i decided to install the 2.4L while I was changing the transmission. I kept all sensors, wiring and the ECU from the 1AZ. I used the 1AZ intake and exhaust manifolds. The coolant sensor and knock sensor were different.

Hello people, I am noob at this racing world, but I want to find out what can I do to my RAV4 in order to add some HP and make it be respected on the street. It is a Second Gen. RAV4 engine is a 1AZ-FE 2.0 L 4WD If any of you have ideas, let me know, thanks.

Hello, I was looking to find a replacement for a blown engine and was wondering what the difference is between these two engines? Would the "1az-fse" be compatible as direct a replacement or require switching some components over? Thank you!

The 1AZ-FE header/cat set up just looks like it would flow better and is obviously more expensive to make. When I did the swap, I kept the 1AZ header. Would a 2AZ-FE in a later model work better with the double-cat 1AZ-FE header? I had to do the swap because I had wrecked the engine engine bearings on a particularly rocky and steep 4x4 track.
