Habe Antwort von AOL erhalten. Problem gelöst. Thunderbird bei aol.de-Mailadressen manuell einrichten. Server imap.aol.com, Port 993 und smtp.aol.com, Port 465. Sicherheit jeweils ssl/tls. Das Wichtigste: unten im Einrichtungsfenster die E-Mail-Adresse um den Anhang "@aol.de" kürzen. Authentifizierung auf OAuth2 umstellen, testen, dann weiter.
