The tiger lily was not receptive to stargazer pollen, however the stargazer lily had growing seed pods for almost 2 months! But just recently they suddenly turned yellow and withered away.

Aelana, that fuzz is normal on some varieties and nothing to worry about. Its more prominent on some, and mine that have it tend to lose it somewhat as they mature. It does look sort of like mealybugs at a glance and I've had a sudden panic over it before. Its typical on tiger lilies and some with tiger lily genes in their parentage.

Not sure what you got there, lily seeds are quite thin. Tiger lilies are so quick to reproduce bulbils and bulblets that is doesn't seem worth starting from seed unless you crossed them with something interesting.
