Dolby Chadwick gallery is pleased to announce Ô temps, suspends ton vol !, an exhibition of new work by French-born artist Edwige Fouvry, on view April 7-30, 2016. French for “Oh Time, Stop Flying,” ...
As a unit of mass, ton can mean: the tonne, also called the metric ton, which is 1,000 kilograms (about 2,204.6 pounds) or 1 megagram. Its original use as a unit of volume has continued in the capacity of cargo ships and in units such as the freight ton and a number of other units, ranging from 35 to 100 cubic feet (0.99 to 2.83 m 3) in size.
The question "50 - 52 C NVMe SSD idle temps - Normal?" is based upon the assumption that the idle temperature is a measure to determine if your device is performing correctly.
So I started investigating and after a little while I noticed that my cpu is idling at a temp between 100 C - 105 C (yes, Celsius) through msi after burner , I tried "open hardware monitor" and it is reporting the same temps, I rebooted into bios and it is showing constant 96 C.
With temps like this, if you’re going to stick the SN770 in a motherboard that doesn’t have M.2 heatsinks, make sure there’s good air-flow over the drive. Enabling Gaming Mode on the SN770 essentially disables any power-saving / sleep features, so the drive is always at the ready.

However, GPU overclocking is extremely common, and many situations arises where people push GPUs to extreme temps - thus resulting in a perception that GPUs have higher temperature tolerances than CPUs.
