The Cummins N14 is a 14 liter, inline 6 cylinder diesel widely used in class 8 on-highway applications from 1987 through 2001. While early engines used a simple PT injection system, the later N14 featured Cummins Celect and Celect Plus electronically controlled fuel systems.
Cummins N14 was produced from 1987 to 2002, and in that time three distinct versions were manufactured: the N14, N14 CELECT, and N14 CELECT Plus. Unlike the ISX series that would follow it, and be built at a single location, the N14 was produced at various plants globally.
