I tried all the above, uninstalling , reinstalling, compatibility levels, messed with my firewall settings, -- already had BSG whitelisted for my outlook account - so no spam email problems. did basically everything under the sun to get this working.

Unfortunately the BSG launch allows you to receive your AUTH code by your original email you set up the game with ONLY. The change email function was removed not long after the game released to apparently stop the sales of accounts yet has never been turned back on after Authentication codes, back up emails and secret questions were added.
