Lady Windermere Syndrome

First, Lady Windermere's Syndrome seems like somewhat of an outdated theory to me now, as we learn more about Bronchiectasis and are discovering more of it around the world.

In reply to @katemn "FROM MY FILE CABINET LUNG CLEARANCE From Member @ling, Ling .. I was in your shoes..." + (show) Wow I never heard of Lady Windermere syndrome pretty interesting so I think that’s what we have .

It is called Lady Windermere Syndrome and affects active older women who are very thin with no (or minimal) history of smoking or other risk factors. It nearly always presents as a pneumonia-like condition at first, and the ground-glass opacities bear this out.

The ID doctor says I am a subtype…Lady Windermere’s Syndrome. I have autoimmune markers that light up in my blood work, but to this date not RA. My genetic inheritance has me set up for autoimmune…type 1 diabetes, BRCA positive, Raynaud's, but I am diagnosed with MAC and bronchiectasis. I hope my story helps you with some questions/answers.

With LWS (Lady Windermere Syndrome) I do not cough any sputum up…wish I could. The saline does “ initially” burn a bit, but I carry on dutifully. My process takes approximately 15 minutes and I am totally exhausted after…takes me another 15-20 minutes to gain composure…some days better/worse than others.

Sure enough, I had bronchiectasis and then my pulmonologist looked at me and said I bet you have Lady WIndermere's Syndrome (or MAC) and I was like a deer in headlights.

The plural possessive is "ladies'." "Lady" is singular, so if you were referring solely to one woman's shoes, it would be "the lady's shoes." As for your second question, I'm assuming you're referring to a group of women in your salutation of them, so it would be "Good morning, ladies." And as you're addressing them directly, the comma preceding "ladies" is necessary.
