It's a waste of time. Even if the 360 was an E58 police engine, the 1974+ J-heads were all low-compression wheezers (including the 587 and 345 heads on the E48/ELE police 318). The 302 heads on the 318 are 9.0, "swirl-port", and designed to accommodate the hydraulic roller cam/lifters/pushrods.
