Hi Ben, Adobe DRM combined with ADE is everything about harrassing customers. But I found a solution yesterday. I used the MS-search-engine and screened all files having something to do with Adobe Digital editions. I backed-up my epub-files and deleted all former library and ADE-files. Well: It worked. I created a complete new set-up. This is not a nice solution but it worked.
Adobe digital editions can't be installed on modern android devices, only those with an older operating system. How do these instructions help then?

I fixed it by going into C/program files (x86)/Adobe/Adobe Digital Editions 4.5. I renamed the Adobe Digital Editions program as DigitalEditions Old [took out the space between Digital and Editions.
