The Workhorse P32 is a continuation of the Chevrolet P30series motorhome chassis which dates back to 1969. Workhorse bought the rights to the chassis line from Chevrolet in I think 1998, in fact about the only chassis part that changed between a 1998 (7?) Chevy P30 motorhome and a 1999 (8?) Workhorse P32 was the logo on the steering wheel.

All numbers were within specs. According to Workhorse, the 2007 W-24 chassis (and probably the W-20's and W-22's also although I don't know this for a fact) had a newly designed power steering system to address a noisy power steering pump and increase the end-to-end power assist.
