So I am thinking, whether digging an underground bunker can allow one to survive a wild fire. Dig it deep enough, have ventilation, and store food and water there for 4-5 days. Usually the fire burns thru in a day or 2. I read that when dinosaurs were killed by what went on above ground, our ancestors survived by hiding in underground holes.

Weather Underground continues to fail miserably in my opinion. Intellicast was far superior in every way and their drop down menu was exceptional.
Anyone else encounter this disruptive move yesterday? Weather Underground doesn't remotely compare in my opinion. Intellicast.com and the format in which information was provided was/is very useful to the public. The features have disappeared on Weather Underground. Is this the purpose of the change...to keep information from the public?
