Thanks for all the comments and feedback. My other option is see who on here has an extra slide or one they don't need and just swap out my slide or run it until (if it will) fail, then replace it.
From the GLOCK serial thread, your G19 gen3 goes back to around May/Jun 1998. thanks , i was unable to find my numbers or anything close to it .
