@jwolhart Sims 4 sims are still Barbie and Ken underneath their clothing. It sounds like you do have mods or custom content somewhere, otherwise you wouldn't be seeing this issue. Please move the entire Mods folder to the desktop, delete localthumbcache.package, and test. You may need to change affected sims' outfits to revert them to normal.

On Mac, I hit the sims app icon in the area where are your apps are staged and I hit quit. You then go over to the sims again after going over 2 buttons from the esc button and tap on the sims.

I have Sims 4 on my Mac. I searched up how to apply the cheat bar and it’s Shift+Command+C. But, whenever I press the C button, it just takes a picture. Is there there another way to get the cheat bar up or a way to disable the shortcuts for all of the objects. Please help. Thanks!
Then try to play Sims 4, first on the iGPU. Once the game crashes, check the maximum temperatures for anything processor-related, or the integrated graphics if it's listed separately. Hwinfo does list a lot of info, but you can ignore anything that's not temperature-related.
