Re: 2017 Maxima A/C not working Post by Datzxjr » Thu 7:27 am Thanks VStar650CL, I was checking it out in the driveway but normally the fan should start up. I checked the refrigerant with one of the cans with the gauge and it was showing high. (Assuming again) I believe that would drop if the compressor started.

I own a 2014 maxima and am having the same issues with the brake and battery lights. I went to auto zone and the battery and alternator checked out fine. A trusted mechanic kept my car at their shop for 3 days and no issues were found. I got the car back and have been driving it for 3 weeks now and the lights are flashing again.
I have a 2009 Nissan Maxima 3.5 SV with about 160K miles that loses engine power while driving. I am able to start and drive it, but after about 20-30 minutes of driving the car will lose engine power. The car will not accelerate and you are forced to pull over. The engine will still run...
For the Maxima and most other Nissan models, the first portion of the OE part number is a "part category" indicating it's a VCV, so the right number for your ride should start with 14935- regardless of what market the car was built for. Only the second portion of the number might differ by MY or market.
