If I remember right, in Naruto Shippuden there's a realization that the Kage Bunshin retrieve the information they learn to the original use. If I'm not wrong Naruto used this in the battle against Pain, he putted his bunshin over the summoned frogs world to build up nature power, and then re-summoned them to replenish Sage powers.
