5 I'm in a campaign where all the players are supposed to be the human equivalent of young teenagers from their villages. In terms of mental age/status as a young teenager, what would be an appropriate chronological age for a high elf?
It has been a few sessions since this player has rolled up a new character, which leads to the question: Is it appropriate to reveal that this player character was alive the whole time? They are the minimum appropriate level for the party to experience the horror, dread and their overall helplessness to do anything about the pervading evil of the land. Or, to rally and decide that whatever they can do, whatever small victory they can achieve, is enough for now, will have to be enough.
