Intercom for talking with up to 4 people in the vehicle. May skimp on headsets for back seaters for now. Options I'm currently aware of: Rugged Radio GMRS + Intercom - Fits most of the requirements, but headsets aren't wireless & it's around $1,500 for a full setup. Wireless headsets would be nice instead of the wired ones, but not a deal breaker.
Looking for a inexpensive intercom. Full headphones. 2 people. No need for radio communication. Suggestions?
I see that Rugged Radio is selling a stereo Intercom called the STX Head unit. It maybe simply a rebranded 696+ intercom that has stereo but I am wondering if the Ride Command Bluetooth connection issue has been resolved with this unit?

This provides a compact interface that allows complete control over the intercom in a rocker switch slot. They also designed a custom radio mount for the 2024 XP. WD Electronics makes one of the best street legal kits out there.
Have VOX intercom to my wife and kids in the car over bluetooth to all the helmets, then hit the BT PTT button and I can talk to other cars. You can even monitor multiple channels at the same time without having to switch.
I'm looking for different mounts that others are using to mount their Rugged radios and intercoms (specifically the RDM-DB and 696). In my Pro XP I cut out the switch panel and used the RR mounting plates. I was looking for some mount that would allow me to mount them under the switch panel...
