could anyone help me with this sentence? your teacher English would really appreciate your doing the homework. the doing of doing your doing is it correct? Thanks in avance.

I suspect this sentence sounds odd or even grammatically incorrect. Does “appreciate”, used in the sense of “grateful”, take “ that-clause ” (as in “I really appreciate that you… ”) as its object? Would you native speakers please help me by correcting or paraphrasing it?
