Do you use coyote urine on all of your trap sets or just certain ones? If so how much urine and when to refresh?
For coyote, I’ve ground up fish, rabbit, beaver meat, squirrel, venison, barn cat, bobcat, castor gland and alligator. Here’s how I’d rank them in overall coyote interest: Barn cat Bobcat Rabbit Venison Castor* Beaver Squirrel Alligator* Fish *I think it’s worth noting that bobcats have fallen hard for my ground gator meat.
Southern coyote pelts were supposed to bring 8-10 dollars a pelt so I'm still going to trap like fox and bobcats and sell the furs. The pens done this once before and GTA quit selling all coyotes and the price went back to 75-100 a piece.
