Juarez shares the Rio Grande River with Texas and it’s right across from El Paso. Together with the surrounding area, El Paso and Ciudad Juarez comprise the second-largest binational metropolitan area on the U.S.-Mexico border with a combined population of more than 2.7 million people.

Juarez, (Spanish: Ciudad Juárez) is the most populous city in the Mexican state of Chihuahua and is located in the middle of the Chihuahuan Desert. Juarez borders El Paso, Texas and it’s here that the Rio Grande River separates Mexico and United States borders.
