Actia 103539 Speedo

Hi There Just a 24 year old New England Boy that started wearing speedos this year! Hoping to make the most of these going forward

Re: First Time in Public! by diveguy » Sun 9:04 am Congratulations! I know it’s challenging at first to wear your speedo in public but the more you do it the easier it gets and then it becomes more about joyful comfort and pleasure.

How do you build your confidence to wear speedos in public? I used to be overweight and have felt a lot of embarrassment about my body. I’m in good shape now but still feel judged. I tried wearing speedos on the beach once this summer but felt nervous and noticed some women laughing. I want to be confident to wear my speedos all the time. How do I get over this?

Not for the impatient. As I previously mentioned, sometimes when I've switched cords on a speedo, I've tried to tape the ends together and gently pull the new one through. That's successful maybe 20% of the time. Then wherever it pulled apart, I'm stuck using the above techniques trying to get the damn thing to the finish line. Boy I need a life...

Greg Louganis--he competed more than once in ABC's The Superstars competition, which featured pro athletes from all disciplines. Greg usually won the swimming competition handily, looking great in a speedo of course. Most of the other athletes swam in speedos, although some of the bigger guys opted for a square-cut or the like.

How many people close to you like friends or family know that you wear a speedo? A few of my friends and former coworkers know that I wear speedos, as well as a few of my wife's friends.
