The scope base mounts on the left hand side of the receiver, just above the stock, there's a dovetail cutout for the original FN49 mount. The one you've got pictured is an aftermarket S&K mount.

The scope comes with a decent set of rings and a throw lever. The rings have a thick anodized coating common with budget rings, designed to cover over the hard edges and lack of refined milling. The rings do feature a recoil lug and Torx screw for better holding power. The scope performed well in tracking and optical clarity.
Hi, I've got a Winchester Model 67 in .22 and I'd like to put a scope on it. Does anyone have any recommendations for a mount and scope. I like the look of blued steel better than black plastic. From everything I read, I may have to have a custom mount fabricated. What's the best scope for a .22? Regards
Tasco Custom Shop made in Japan 8-40x56 scope I've usually got my eye out for nice Japan made Tasco scopes. I've glommed a 36X and a couple of 24X target scopes and recently got this 8-40x56 made in Japan by the Tasco Custom Shop.
