I have owned a beautiful kay company banjo for over 30 years. My understanding is that. There's forum posts from like 2013 where people say they wouldn't pay more than $125, but then i see other current listings online for $225+, so really don't know what to think.

1970s kay eagle 5 string banjo eagle with gold parts in excellent condition, with hardshell case. The is quite a high end banjo for a vintage kay! We've seen the eagle banjos. This is a vintage japanese banjo that i believe was made by kay (due to the symbols on the headstock).

It has a beautiful eagle clutching the stars and stripes on the back. Really cool gold plated banjo. Comes with what i believe as its original case. I also believe the banjo to be original. There is one picture that shows what could have been a neck.
